This month has been crazy! I’m a little late on posting this 14 month old schedule because we were out of our house for almost two and half weeks! That’s a long time when you have a toddler who DOES NOT SLEEP WELL outside of her home, space, or crib. This definitely was not our schedule everyday of this month…but if we had a “normal” day this would probably be it!
OUR DAY – 14 month old schedule:
8:00 am Wake up
8:15am Breakfast (she pretty much wants to eat right away. She will sign for “milk” or “eat”. We give her milk with breakfast in sippy or if time allows practicing with an open cup. I leave her in her PJs knowing she is going to spill a lot of milk when practicing with a cup but she loves it!)
8:45am Playtime. Some mornings are daddy mornings that they play together one-on-one or head to the gym together. Some mornings are both and some are mommy mornings!
11:30am-12:00pm Lunch. She is usually hungry right around 11:30am. Usually it is a smorgasbord of what’s in the fridge. I try to always offer at least three food groups at every meal.
12:00pm-12:30pm Start Nap. If we are at home and she is in her own bed she is good to go! If we are somewhere else good luck with sleep period. She’ll sleep for 2-3 hours.
3:00pm Snack. She will sign “eat” shortly after waking up and have a small snack. Usually fruit and/or crackers.
3:30pm Playtime, errands, visit Daddy. This is a good time for us to run short errands.
5:30pm Dinner. She pretty much needs to eat by this time if not earlier. If I start cooking dinner at this time or anywhere close to this time it just won’t happen. I’m still learning to plan and be prepared! She is training me. Eventually I’ll get it. Maybe by kid #3.
6:30pm Bath. If we are home I do usually give her a bath every night (there are a few nights a week we are gone and it just doesn’t happen). I do this because I let her get pretty messy at dinner (she likes to spike her hair with yogurt or potatoes…gross). We are practicing with a open cup also. Knowing I’m going to plop her in the tub allows me to “let it go” at dinner! We don’t use soap every night sometimes just water!
7:00pm Diaper, PJs, and some playtime with mommy for a little bit.
7:30pm Cuddle time! Bottle with whole milk. Amount varies with how much she drank earlier that day. Anywhere from 5-8oz. This is my only time where she will lay still with me. Lately we watch a short youtube channel together and snuggle!
7:45pm Brush teeth, read 2 books, short prayer to Jesus, grab our blankies and bed by 8pm.
